Cavalry Defence Academy initially came into existence in Ahmednagar Maharashtra two years back when the Director Subhash Madhwal was an Army Instructor there in Armoured Corps Centre & School. However, at that time only the children of army men were prepared for army and Sainik school. After taking premature retirement from the army, Subhash Sir completely shifted the Cavalry Defence Academy to Dehradun. Then along with co-founder Mr. Sonveer laid a new foundation for CDA. Subhash Madhwal was an instructor in the army for 4 years. Apart from this, during his military service, he served at various places across the country. During his instructor turnover, he not only prepared thousands of cadets mentally and Physically for the army but also taught them basic and compulsory education for their future endeavours in entire service. The objective of Cavalry Defence Academy is to educate the youth physically and mentally for the army. The youth who are not able to join Armoured even after many attempts and have the passion to serve the country, then Team CDA discovers where he is making a mistake and rectify it to join the Armed Forces. Along with this, CDA also creates awareness among young children to get admission in Sainik School, Rashtriya Military School, Rashtriya Indian Military School and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and prepare for it. The preparation for the entrance exam taken for admission in all these schools is done very well.
